Dr. Anissa Eddie
Dr. Anissa L. Eddie is the Founder & Principal of Liminality Consulting. Anissa earned her Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies from Michigan State University with a concentration in child development. Her research focuses on ethnic-racial identity development and socialization in early childhood and she is also active in early care and education policy work. Anissa is a Policy Fellow with the National Black Child Development Institute, and a Pritzker Fellow with the National Collaborative for Infants and Toddlers.
Anissa completed her Bachelor of Social Work at Calvin University and earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan with concentrations in the areas of community organizing, policy, and evaluation. Anissa has previous experience as a school-based social worker, an outpatient therapist and an adjunct professor.
Through Liminality Consulting, Anissa offers services in the areas of leadership coaching, process facilitation, project management, research support, program evaluation, and grant writing. Liminality also applies subject matter expertise through project advising, content review, workshop delivery, and children's media cultural consulting.
Anissa lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan with her partner, their three sons, and their dog, Toffee.
